Zoning
Goldfield Ranch is currently zoned R-190 (1 house per
5 acres). Maricopa County has approved a Development Master Plan for
the area indicated Blue on the Available map. This will result in
higher density development on that portion of the ranch.
Building Permits
All construction is regulated by the Maricopa County
Planning and Zoning Department. The county issues building permits
and conducts inspections during the course of construction. There
is no architectural control or design criteria beyond the country
ordinance.
Taxes and Assessments
The property tax rate has remained fairly constant
at $75.00 per acre for 2000 and 2001. Property owners association
dues have varied between $4.00 and $5.00 per acre per year.
Police and Fire Protection
Both the Maricopa Sheriff's office and the Arizona
Highway Patrol serve the Goldfield Ranch area. Rural Metro does not
currently provide fire protection.
Schools
Goldfield Ranch is not currently within a school district.
Children attend the Fountain Hills public schools. There is currently
no provision for transportation and residents rely on carpool. |
